This summer, Āgenskalns Market will host a series of events called “Baltic Market Road” – three summer events where contemporary folk musicians, traders, and travelers come together. The Baltic states, their histories, and their spaces have always been interconnected, but we aim to bring them even closer together. And where better to experience the cultures of these countries than at a market?

The market is a meeting point and a stop along the route between the Baltic states, where Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia can be discovered in a new way – through food, music, and urban space all at once. All three events are united by the idea of movement and connection – transport as a metaphor and the market as the place where these paths intersect.
